After many months of simply leaving G2B@ to sink or swim by itself we're still receiving an average of over 20 unique visitors per day!
I'm quite chuffed with that - so chuffed in fact that I've decided I'll see what I can do to rid the site of all the banner ads and all the devious little "hot text" ads embedded within whatever text members post.
Thanks for all your support, and let's hope G2B@ become a truly usefull place, one that's Good 2 Be At!

As you will have noticed, the forum is now showing banner ads.
THIS WAS NOT OUR DECISION, BUT WAS IMPOSED ON US.
Having said that, I cannot say I disagree with our web host's reasoning, even if I would have preferred to have no ads.
G2B@ was started as a free venture - free as in no tie-ins, free as in no membership fees and free as in no setup or running costs.
As Sam has pointed out elsewhere in a post, from the outset G2B@ was left to survive by itself. This was never going to be one...
